In the recent years, many funds have invested in paving bicycle paths, expanding roads, and creating & marking riding trails all over the country. Today, especially during the weekends, you can see many riding groups, families and individuals touring all over the country from north to south, road / touring & MTB.

What should you expect to see when bike touring in Israel?
The Climate in Israel is a Mediterranean climate: the summer is hot and dry while the winter is relatively mild and short.
The recommended areas for bike tours during the winter will be Tel Aviv, the Judean Mountains and Negev. During the hot summer we recommend that you ride only in the early morning hours and in the afternoon until sunset. In the middle of the day the temperature can get extremely high in all parts of the country and there is a danger of dehydration.
During the transitional seasons it is possible to enjoy riding in almost all parts of the country including: the Negev, the Galilee, Tel Aviv and more.
