Day 1:The Galillee, Tzfat & Kfar Giladi                                                      
Experience an authentic and intimate connection to this epic land and its people.                                        

Begin your day with a ride north along the Mediterranean coast from Nahariya to Rosh HaNikra where you may wish to descend by cable car to view the natural grottoes in the cliff-face. From here you will climb into the Upper Galilee; if you wish you can pass the Montfort Crusader Castle. As you continue on your ride you will pass through many villages and vineyards, with an option to stop at a local winery, in this striking part of the country. You may choose to pass through the Bara'am National Park and view the 1,600 year old synagogue there on your way to Safed. You should aim to arrive by early/mid afternoon in Safed, the home of Jewish Mysticism (Kabbalah) and take the afternoon to tour this picturesque town with its famous artist colony and many synagogues. 

Cycling Distance: 75 Km, Moderate/Challenging.
Overnight: Tzfat old City, Casual.

Day 2: Rehania Circassian village, Yiron Winery, Koach fortress

​On your second day of riding you will first ride through the Circassian Village of Rehania, and continue north stopping if you wish at the Yiron Winery. Yu will  follow the northern border road with incredible views of both Lebanon and Israel before dropping down from the Upper Galilee past the Koach fortress. The day will take you into the Hulla Valley where in the right season you may see hundreds of thousands of migrating birds, and then up to the Finger of the Galil where you will be staying the night. For a few extra miles you can opt to take an additional ride to visit the village of Metula, Israel's northernmost town. 

Cycling Distance: 75Km, Moderate/Challenging.
Overnight: Kibbutz Kfar Giladi, Casual.

Day 3:The Golan Heights                                                                                   Where Israelis, Lebanese & Druze make a colorful mosaic of food, culture, and history                              

Start your third day of the ride by heading towards the sources of the Jordan River using the side roads and bike lanes connecting the kibbutzim of the area. You may wish to stop at the Banias National Park where you can enjoy a nature walk or tour the ancient city. From here the road climbs towards Mt Hermon, Israel's highest peak, although you won't be climbing all the way!  The last leg of the ride will take you through the Odem Forest to Kibbutz Merom Golan, situated at the foot of an ancient volcano. Along the way you will view the Nimrod Fortress, a crusader period castle nestled on the foot of Mt Hermon, and should you wish you can stop in a Druze village for some traditional Druze food en route. 

Cycling Distance: 50 Km, Challenging.
Overnight: Kibbutz Merom Golan, Casual.


Day 4: Mt. Bental, Katzrin, Golan winery, Mt Hermon 

​Today you will spend a full day in the Golan Heights allowing you to visit some of the many points of interest in the area. You will enjoy panoramic views over both Israel and Syria, as you ride across the basalt landscape in between apple orchards and vineyards. You will loop back to Kibbutz Merom Golan, giving you the freedom today to do as much or as little as you wish. Options for things to visit include Mt Bental Observation Point, Katzrin, Golan Winery, Nimrod Fortress on Mt. Hermon. 

Cycling Distance: 20-100km depending on where you want to go, Moderate/Challenging.
Overnight: Kibbutz Merom Golan, Casual.

Day 5: Gamla National Park & Capernaum                                              
Home of the Ministry of Jesus & Jewish life in the Roman Period                                                                              

Today's ride will take you from the Golan Heights down to the Sea of Galilee; you will ride via Gamla National Park where you can view the remains of the ancient city as well as the Griffin Vulture nests, before heading down to the eastern coast of the Sea of Galilee. You will cross over the River Jordan as it enters the northern part of the Sea of Galilee and if you wish stop at the national park of Capernaum where the majority of Jesus' ministry was set. From here you will follow the bike lane around the lake to the town of Tiberius, one of the four Holy Cities to Judaism, and with impressive remains from the Ottoman period.

Cycling Distance: 90 Km, Moderate.
Overnight: Tiberius, Casual.

Day 6: Degania Alef, Mt Tabor, Yigal Alon Center, Kursi National Park, Yardenit Baptismal Site

​Today will be dedicated to biking around the Sea of Galilee, taking time to visit some of the historical sites along the way should you wish. Optional sites to visit around the lake include the first kibbutz, Degania Alef; the Yardenit Baptismal Site, Kursi National Park, and the Yigal Alon Center where you can see the "Jesus Boat".  If you are looking to add some climbing to the ride, you can head to Mt Tabor, the place of the transfiguration. 

Cycling Distance: 90 Km, Moderate.
Overnight: Tiberius, Casual.

Day 7: The Jordan valley                                                                                  
Agricultural region spanning 10,000 years                                                                                                                            

Set out of Tiberius following the shore of the Sea of Galilee and then the River Jordan until you arrive at Beit Shean where you may wish to visit the extensive archaeological remains dating from the Roman-Byzantine period. You will  conclude your tour with a short ride to the Harod Springs where you will enjoy relaxing in the cool natural water. If you are looking for one last climb before the end of the ride you can head to Mt. Gilboa. At the end of your ride you will be met by our representative and transfer by car to Jerusalem\Tel Aviv. 

Cycling Distance: 80 Km, Moderate/Challenging.
Overnight: Not included.
